If you’re temporarily sidelined due to an injury it might be a great time to use the time to your advantage and not only assess how or why the injury occurred or could have been prevented, but to use the time to look at some alternative training that you might have not considered had you not been sidelined.First, take a look at how your injury occurred and ask yourself some tough questions. Was it because you were not training with the proper equipment? Did you push yourself harder and faster than your body was prepared to be pushed? Are your nutrition needs being met so you are well fueled and not running on a deficit?
